about us

"Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building"

(1 Corinthians 3:8-9)

In January of 2004, a few families from the South-West of England began meeting every Sunday in a house to pray for a spiritual awakening in their region. We recognised the need for a dynamic pentecostal church, therefore we continued to pray for God's will to be carried out with His guidance. By God's grace, the dedication and selflessness of each member contributed significantly to the expansion of the church.

God granted us a place of worship in Portsmouth in 2005, and it was named BETHEL PENTECOSTAL CHURCH. The congregation exists solely to glorify God by producing disciples, bringing individuals to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, and teaching believers how to grow in their walk with God and their fellow Christians. By putting God's word into practise, Bethel Pentecostal Church will achieve its mission statement. We are a biblically grounded, family-centered church wholly devoted to apostolic work. We place a strong focus on spiritual and ethical principles. This is accomplished via powerful biblical preaching and teaching, spirit-filled worship, and mission- and vision-driven fellowship.
